Vibelink small pop sound when it goes into standby

just got the Vibelink, it is excellent. but I can't figure out the small pop I get (sound come from the speakers) every time it goes into standby ONLY -
i have it connected to the Ultra with RCA and toslink inputs , same thing happens no matter on which input it's set to.
tried turning its volume all the way down - same.

right now it's connected to the Ultra with RCAs, Toslink, short (stereo) trigger cable. tried disconnecting the trigger cable to see if it makes any difference, but it doesn't.
also I should mention, it doesn't matter how it goes intro standby (button, app, Ultra triiger) - I always get the low pop sound.

it's not a big deal, but was wondering if anyone else experienced this issue

Mine popped when I turned it off via the app.
Not uncommon on amplifiers.

Please update the Vibelink firmware using the WiiM Home App. Simply move your mobile phone close to the Vibelink Amp, and the app will automatically detect the device and begin the update process.
Give it a try, and let us know if everything works smoothly!

Done that, update applied. I'll see how it behaves over the next couple of days.
Took me a moment to remember I had to enable bluetooth for this to work!

However, when I use the 'power' button for the vibelink within the Devices screen to turn the amp 'off' I get a pop through the speakers.

I don't think so. As @Mr Ee said, it is common in amplifiers.

As far as I know, most D-class amps with TPA325X and PFFB have pop noise at power on/off.

The WiiM amp has no pop noise, but the WiiM amp pro and amp Ultra have the same pop noise.

couldn't hear any pop from the speakers when the A5 went into standby - only its relay clicking sound from within the amp.
I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it, just wanted to make sure this is a known issue /bug / "thing" and that the amp I bought is 100% fine

You can submit a request ticket via the feedback section of the WiiM app.

Honestly I was concerned about this pop noise when the WiiM amp pro was released and asked if it could be improved by submitting a ticket. The team is aware of it, but it probably won't be easy to remedy.

i searched both this forum and ASR before posting this thread, and couldn't find anyone complaining on this matter (only for turning off).
if this is a "common issue" with 325x based amps that i was not aware of (though coming from a really good one imho) - that's fine! but why normalize this?

My TP RA3 amp, which I was using at the time, had the same pop noise, but Amp pro was a bit louder than it. So I just asked if they could make it a bit quieter on the software side.

It is pointless to continue discussing whether it is a bug or not here. If you feel it is an issue, then please submit a ticket and ask the Support Team directly.

My reading of this is that @Wiimer originally thought it was but after raising a ticket to WiiM and educating themselves elsewhere, they now consider it to be normal and not an issue. So sort of where you are now

and for a second i thought one of the ideas behind this forum is making WiiM products better with the help of the community.
and having said that, here you are making excuses for a fault (or however you'd like to call it) , just because it's "small" .
if 3e Audio managed to solve the clicks on power off/on with the same Ti chips, I'm sure WiiM can as well if they wanted to.
