Volume subwoofer in Wiim Ultra and Vibelink Amp

Hi friends.
I have a Wi-Fi Ultra connected to a Vibelink Amp and Kef LS50 Meta speakers. I've installed a BW ASW610 subwoofer, but I'm still not sure how the setup works. I hope you can help.
The subwoofer is connected to the Ultra's sub-out and from there to the subwoofer's LFE input.
I have the Ultra's sound at 100% and adjust the volume with the Vibelink Amp's volume wheel. Everything sounds fine. If I turn the volume down to zero on the Ultra, everything stops playing (speakers and subwoofer), but if I turn the volume down to zero on the Vibelink Amp, the speakers stop playing, and the subwoofer keeps playing.
Any ideas?

If you’re using a sub, you need to use the Ultra for overall volume control and not touch the vibelink.

You will need to set a fixed volume on the Vibelink and then adjust the volume and sub on the WiiM Ultra.

Set the max volume you will ever play on the Vibelink (with the Ultra at max) and then only use the WiiM Ultra volume.

I have one or two side notes. First, whenever you change the volume setting on the WiiM Vibelink Amp you must re-adjust the subwoofer level in the Ultra's subwoofer configuration menu to keep it level with your main speakers. Did you take the time and play around with different crossover frequencies and delay settings? The default values are defaults because they are OK in many setups. That doesn't mean they are ideal for your setup. Whenever you make changes to theses parameters you should re-evaluate the subwoofer level as well.

Second, if there is the slightest chance that somebody else in your household may tinker with the Vibelink Amp volume, then I would simply set it to the maximum position before adjusting the subwoofer level. Turning the knob fully clockwise is easy, straight forward and a well defined position you can find even in low light conditions. I understand the reasoning behind setting it to the lowest you would ever want, but the digital volume control on my WiiM Ultra didn't let me down even once in the many months I've been using it. I don't need onextra safety margin, but prefer well defined conditions. Sound wise, there will be no difference.

If you are the sole and unrestricted master of the volume knob this last point doesn't matter, of course.

Thanks. The only change in Wiim ultra defaults for my subwoofer is 85 Hz crossover. For my equipment in my room is the better i think.
I dont understand where to modify in app "delay settings" that you say @harkpabst

Please perform automatic or manual sync under "Syncing Subwoofer & Speakers" within Subwoofer Settings.
