What are you listening to?

Trucker life was and is all but romantic. Nevertheless, still today "Country" is a best selling genre in the USA. In 2023 four out of ten streamed songs were "Country".
Nevertheless from time to time I love all the lies they sing about 😉 so don't crucify me.

The Kids Are Having None Of It is "a song that revolves around the idea of the younger generation standing up against hate, oppression, and outdated ideologies."


You'll go a long way to find a better album than Indian Ocean, recorded with Al Green's Hi Rhythm Section.

If soul isn't your thing then Idles at Glasto (iPlayer, UK) is terrific. They always are.
 
Necessary? No idea, doesn't matter for me. All ugly tricks used, but it sounds so great on the stereo. (I still remember how great the 5.1 on the audio only DVD sounded when I thought such setup was mandatory 😉)
One of the few albums I say: Avoid the vinyl!
