My cassette tape era lasted from 1980 to about 1987. In about 7 years I owned about 50 cassette tapes. Very few. Some of cassette tapes was overwritten over and over again, and by the end it was stretched in places.
Back then, I never even cared about the sound quality. There was only the joy of music.
