The next guilty pleasure. 1980s and what was NDW in Germany was in the USA Urban Country. Sparkling cleanly produced with a straight electrified band and flavoured with traditional country spices: hiccup baritone, tanging pedal steels and sometimes cheerfully floating, sometimes sentimental sobbing fiddlers.
Shall I claim the rights for it? In my original German text it is "sentimental seufzende Fiedler"Sentimental Sobbing Fiddlers sounds like a great name for a C&W band
