Sad that things haven't quite turned out as we might have hoped...

This young girl appeared on what looks and sounds like the Russian version of The Voice (yes, I know, but...)

There are some videos on YT where she sings 'Human' (Rag'n'Bone Man) and 'Wicked Game' (Chris Izaak) which are amazing (apart from the awful screaming audience). Worth hunting down

Here she is singing in a calmer more traditional manner

Now an album with the same drummer, Charly Antolini, that @Achim1811 suggested yesterday. Difference is.......that this album is listeneable.
A curiosity about this album. Among the performers is Romano Mussolini. A famous jazz musician in Italy.
Well, he was one of Benito Mussolini's sons. Yes, that very Mussolini. Fathers and sons are not always the same.

Great choice. Fairport have always been amongst my favourites. I have all their first LPs

My wife hosted a few little girls from the neighborhood teaching them baking cookies for Christmas. Berta loves them all and she is where she always wants to be. In the middle of everything!
