What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

What do we (I say this being an actual Eversolo owner) have to gain from WiiM making the same thing as a T8 when the T8 already exists?
THE SAME FUNCTIONALITY FOR LESS! That's the the magic of Wiim and that's why they succeded. By far.
They made Mini - cheapest puck which can stream.
Pro - larger better box with more outputs.
Pro+ - Pro with better DAC.
Ultra - larger box with screen, pre-amp and USB output.
And all of it operated by a very good app!
They are just missing pure streamer.

[I'm not talking about any amps and speakers here]

So you could basically have said you'd like a WiiM version of the T8 for less money than Eversolo charges for the T8.

I'm not convinced that WiiM would do it. It's not WiiM's philosophy to build quite such a thing. If they do, it would probably be something like a WiiM Ultra minus DAC for less money than a WiiM Ultra, at the absolute best, and it would still have a switch-mode power supply (literally the one they already have in a WiiM Ultra).

Or perhaps replace the DAC stage with other added functionality, like a CD transport, maybe an SSD slot. In fact, they'd probably do all that and still include a DAC and charge even more than they do for the WiiM Ultra.

If I had to guess what would actually happen, that is.

Different company, different philosophy, different results.

Yeah, kind of. But I don't promote T8 as a perfect benchmark to copy. I just mean that Eversolo realised they should make it and did it. My only wish is to make Wiim think about it. If they don't want it they just can reject my request. It's not necessary to bully me with a bunch of contributors.
I would also like WiiM to make a streamer similar to the Eversolo T8 possibly with an HDMI output like the DMP-A6. Although I doubt it will happen which is fine with me. I have a WiiM Mini, Pro and Ultra as well as two DMP-A6s. I'm glad that there are two companies like WiiM and Eversolo out there producing excellent streamers with great software.

Where I disagree with you is the way you post and the fact that you feel you're being bullied. What I see is a number of argumentative posts from you with responses that you're not happy with. In other words if you wish to be argumentative you should be prepared to get negative responses in return. That's not being bullied but you getting back what you're dishing out. If you can't take it then don't post like that.

What would an HDMI output provide that isn't delivered by the WiiM Home TV app which in part was developed because users saw an HDMI port on some WiiM devices and assumed it meant it could reproduce the now playing screen over a video output to their TV. Would you have another use in mind?

So, do you agree that "Separate DAC/preamps only make sense for headphones"?
Do you agree that "streamers and DACs cannot be improved any further sonically" [over Ultra and its DAC]?
... and the other guy said that since it's bit-perfect, there is no difference in sound between Mini and other Wiim streamers - do you agree with that also?

If you don't, what can you say about those who say it?

I deleted my previous post. It had the potential to make things even worse 😂

That is exactly why I have said they ignored DAC owners in my first post. I hope you all have great time liking each other's hilarious jokes. On behalf of Wiim customers community I thank you for your service and contribution. Oops, my bad - for your major contribution.
You're welcome, have a nice day 🙂

If there is an HDMI output, would it be possible to output the promotional video for the music app via WiiM?

Having an HDMI output would enable one to play multichannel Blu-ray Audio, DVD-A and SACD files from an attached USB hard drive. I have an Eversolo DMP-A6 which has an HDMI output. I have the HDMI output connected to an Emotiva XMC-1 prepro. It's great to be able to play all my ripped multichannel files in 4.0 and 5.1. The DMP-A6 does not support Atmos which would be great. But I only have a 5.1 system.

A speaker with a CD player and hard drive space to store local files, in addition to being a streamer, having FM radio, and a USB input. Or just some portability.

What does the roadmap look like for Wiim for 2026? Will there be an amplifier with more than 2x200W at 4 ohms? It would be nice to have a Wiim Amp Extreme 2x300W or 2x400W that is two units high.

PLEASE!!! make $500 pure streamer such as Eversolo T8. I love your brand but you ignore people with DACs.
Exactly what I’m looking for. A WiiM version of the Eversolo T8. I much prefer keeping everything in the WiiM ecosystem but just a streamer for the main listening room.
