May want to clarify you mean a plain power amp with no extra frills because according to WiiM, the VibeLink is a power amp.

Yes, definitely the Vibelink is a power amp,
Set the volume knob to the max and forget it.
Obviously if Wiim can make in the future something with 200 W @ 8 it will be super but, anyway, with just this Vibelink I can play a couple of Kef LS3/5A that are not the easiest of the load.

Something with more power and with a Purifi module 
not a power amp then, if it's still going through a pre amp stage, even if it's set to maximum. Is the pre amp electronically bypassed?
Otherwise all integrated amplifiers could be classed as a "power amp"
There is no pre-amplification going on.
even if it is supposed to be less sensitive to the pffb load...it is on this type of "11" or even "15" ohm ( for old version) speaker that I would personally avoid the experience...
(be careful ..low admissible power otherwise it is overheating and distortion.. )
