What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

Okay, it's a possible solution, but it's very expensive ($176 on Amazon) just to calibrate the audio system a few times.
There are more simple microphones available, but they don't have calibration files, so the problem persists.
For example, my very old Pioneer audio-video amplifier has a built-in calibration microphone that connects directly to the amplifier.
I have the Dayton mike (bought a year ago for $40 on Amazon in the US) and downloaded the calibration file. It was within +/- 1 dB from bass through about 10Khz so I wasn't worried about trying adjust my readings any further using the file. You're going to get far more variation than that from just moving the microphone around a bit from reading to reading. Since I don't listen with my head in a vise, I was very pleased with the improvement I got using using the "uncalibrated" mike for room correction, though I will say I liked the results with the Dayton mike more than what I got with the Samsung S22 built-in mike.

Idea:
In-Ceiling, Powered, WiFi Speaker, for Easy Whole-Home Retrofits

I’d love to see a speaker, with built in amp and wifi, that could be installed directly into the ceiling in different rooms of the house, tapping into the existing power lines for recessed or other ceiling lights.

Basically, an in-ceiling version of the upcoming Wiim Sound. Something that seamlessly integrates into the current Wiim ecosystem. Perfect for retrofits: simple installation, clean look, and instant expansion of the Wiim audio experience throughout the house.

I have never seen in-ceiling speakers. Is that a US fenomen or is it used in other countries also?

I'd rather explore ideas for software. I'd like to see a special-purpose firmware for Pro and Pro+ such that;

1. Output 1 subwoofer and 1 center channel. For example, left output assigned for subwoofer and right one for center channel
2. Output stereo subwoofer channels
3. Output two mono subwoofers (multi-sub with different timing offsets and phases)

This way, 5.1 can be done with 1 Ultra (or Amp, Amp Pro, Amp Ultra), and 2 Pro's (or Pro+). Or, for those who prefer 2.2 setup, it takes 2 Pro's (or Pro+).

an update of their oldest product...the "mini"....
quality audio in/out , chip/ ram etc, possibility of ethernet via power usb socket ( like old chromecast audio)...
?
;-)
(a machine that continues to make a lot of sense as long as it remains well placed in terms of price....Basically, it would be Wiim s flagship product... if the audio quality or the Toslink output were good...all the more so as it could be diverted by its cost than in dedicated use as a subwoofer use ...
;-) )

mini mk2
