What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

I am still looking for a WiiM AVR or more precise AV processor and wanted to ask whether there are any plans in this direction.

Such a product could include features like:
  • 4 to 5 HDMI inputs
  • 2 HDMI outputs
  • 8 analog outputs and up to 16 digital outputs
  • Flexible channel routing and multi-way crossovers
  • Per-channel parametric EQ
  • Support for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced, maybe Auro-3D
  • Maybe optional Dirac Live, up to ART
Amplification could than be realized with some of the superb Vibelink Amps or a dedicated 8 channel amp.

Is this something that might be considered for a future WiiM product, or are there any plans you can share?

I would strongly suspect that this would not be considered by WiiM.🤔

Simple...
I m require:
just a mini streamer, high-performance quartz crystal, external (upgradable) power supply, and just one i2s output (my DAC is there, and the rest is useless and of little interest).

In the end, a product that might be only slightly more expensive than a mini...
high-quality and truly useful...

Everything else is pointless...!

I²S, everything else is pointless? Your humour might occasionally go by unnoticed, but not this time. ;)
a little "tired"...
🫣
(And my previous long message was ironic, of course, but it wasn't understood... ... "the need", "I would like", for lemo Camac sockets etc etc"..I should have also demanded a mini binder for Sym as well, and removed the "berrrrkkk" RCA connector to save space for them.)

What you ‚demand‘ and ‚require‘ are not really features on a consumer device.
I suggest you go looking in the studio hardware section. Sorry, but you‘ll probably have to spend a wee bit more, which I am sure you are aware of.

Damn... I was still being sarcastic... and there's no... it just doesn't work...
Hihi

PS: Lemo Camac or Mini Binder aren't used in professional studios, etc., but are very audiophile-oriented and quite rare ( they come from metrology, etc) such as the use of aero or mil connectors sometime (but they can meet in a professional setting).... etc

i2S is a lab cable standard. Experts say it is not the best connection between a streamer and a DAC. Asynchronous USB is better, assuming the DAC has better clocks.

I know this has been discussed many times and it seems that wiim won't do. Still, I want next ultra or pro model to have xlr out with 4 vrm. Want to stay with mid gain, not high :) I know this is a minor thing but as most major things are solved and let's look at minor things too ;)

I've been using the WiiM Pro Plus for over a year now and very pleased with it in comparison to the Meridian 210 which would have been my preferred choice but simply did not have the flexibility as the WiiM. No regrets at all!. However, I use a Roku for steaming video media but the Roku stick lacks and optical or co-ax out for 5.1 surround. Any plans to offer Multi Media Streaming?

1/ a 'landscape' option on the app ios and android.
2/ ios and android app option to mirror the screen on the 'wiim amp ultra' screen. including the standby clock.
3/ an entry level sonos1 beater with stereo pairing.

Why ?? I mean, the measurements constraints can be relaxed but, why not a sub with a bigger woofer and the same integration to the WiiM ecosystem ?
It would need to be considerably larger in size and weight, but could be done.

I’m not sure whether there would be sufficient demand for such a product in the WiiM ecosystem. 🤔

I‘d like to see a discounted model without subwoofer support and without EQ/Roomfit.
It should cost about half of the regular models since 90% of the personnel cost will be for the development and implementation of those non included ‚features‘.

I’m with you on the EQ/RoomFit, but not the subwoofer support. 🤔

If you have decent (and big enough) loudspeakers and and amp that can really drive them you don‘t need a sub for true sound reproduction in a home environment. Adding a sub to such a system is mere straining after effects.
I‘m aware that this is lost ground for me. The majority of people of the same opinion will hardly be on such a forum.
