What's your setup/configuration look like?

Who cares how someone's setup looks?

Pictures of setups are a 'traditional' thread in many audio forums. There's one forum where there is a dedicated thread for pictures of turntable cartridges

But in the same forums very often privacy is claimed. I have a room with an Amp Ultra, two standmounts and two subwoofers. With a bit fantasy everyone should be able to have at least a slight idea how things look. That is WiiM related, the other setups do not include streaming, and how my private rooms look should not be of any interest in an Internet forum. But everyone on its own.

Thankfully we don't get many (or at least too many) shots of people's feet or socks in such photos - that really does irk me...

L/C/R are Philharmonic HTs, surrounds are BMR Monitors, rears are Ascend CMT340SE2s, heights are True Minis (Phil) and subs are PSA EV1513s. So picture what that all looks like. Or, better yet, what it sounds like.

Let's face it, you're jealous? Not everybody has some Towers Of Power in their systems.

OK... I got stereos in every room. Maybe I'll show you what our toilet rooms look like. High End toilets with fancy "analog" bidet seat. None of them "digital toilet seats" for us. I find the digital toilet seats sound a bit dry for my taste... I like them a little bit more sonorous... like with a bit of negative 2nd order harmonic distortion. It makes the flush sound so much more, hmm.. more... hmmm... humid? Like real water...

I wonder, do they make toilet seat butt shakers? I would likely spend two hours sitting on that watching movies.

Here... I was thinking of putting an Ultra with a Schitt DAC, First Watt amp and some Fostex speakers, but it might be too humid... so I compromised. Now I can listen to La Traviattta when doing my thing. It sure adds a whole new meaning to The Triumphal March from Aida.

Actually, two other WiiM Ultras are protected by Godzilla and another one by some ladies in bicycles... You can see the side of an ADS L810... and yes, the lamp is indeed "fragile"... ;-)

For you unwashed Gaijin (like me) those are called Noren curtains and Tenugui towels. The cool thing about living in the USA is that we have large homes with lots of doors. In Japan you'd be lucky to have the front door Noren and may be one more by the "toiret"...

Same think BTW, I've already built my "Japan House" stereo... if the market doesn't crash... it will use, yes, you got it... a WiiM Ultra front end.
