Ultra optical output to active Whafedale A2 and input from CD (optical), turntable (Phono) and TV (HDMI). Pro Plus with input and output to Mini Disk (optical) and Cassette Tape player (RCA).

I have four Wiim Ultras. They drive DACs, I use them primarily to provide bit perfect audio from Tidal HiFi on Android/Chromebooks to the DAC.
Systems are rather complex... so here's a picture... don't ask me to tell you what else is in there, it would take some books... needless to say, the bit perfect from the IP audio to USB works beautifully.
Living room...Main Audio Salon... (Maggies in the rest position ).
Home office ( speakers are off to the right side ).

I got another one in the Home Theater as 2channel for Tidal Hifi and another one in our bedroom driving a vintage Marantz/ADS with a not so vintage Nuforce DAC.

I plain love the beautiful looks of these Apollon amps
...... and I'd get rid of the Play instantly

Having Apple Music supported directly on a device is still different from having AirPlay support and streaming through your phone, of course. You've got two toys where others only have one. Nothing wrong with that.
