Hello, I bought a Wi-Fi amp. A month ago, I turned it on and listened to it just to test it. Then, a month later, when I wanted to turn it back on, I plugged it in, but it didn't power up, even though I used the original cable. No lights came on. I'm sure the cable is working. Since I bought it abroad, I can't take it to a service center. What could be the problem?

Did you measure the voltage right at the end of the mains cable?

If pressing the volume knob button could fix anything here at all, the only by a full factory reset. For a reset you have to press volume knob for at least 10 seconds.

Just to be sure, does nothing appear on the WiiM app? (Are you unable to start the setup?)
Unfortunately, the device cannot be found in the WiiM app.

Return to whom?

Sending it to a dealer in a foreign country is inconvenient and expensive, at least. But it might still be the only viable option.
Yes, it's quite difficult to send it back abroad, especially because of customs issues.

I was wondering if anyone had this problem and found a solution and could tell me the part or way to fix it.

You could try reporting your issue to WiiM Support from the header of this forum and they may be able to assist you.
I doubt it. No power, no data, no log. They would have to mechanically inspect the unit just like anyone else.

I was just about to suggest that you look at the fuse. But I realized that there is no fuse that can be accessed from the outside.
On the other hand, if you can‘t return it you have nothing to loose. I would open it and look for a blown fuse inside or anything else that looks suspicious, depending on your technical skills.

That's why I suggested using the header in the forum for WiiM support

They could point the OP to a WiiM supplier in his own country possibly.
Certainly. A valid approach. But I wouldn‘t expect this to work. They are all just dealers and will never mess with the hardware.
The best result would be that they handle a warranty case for the OP.
