Wiim Amp, Amp Pro, or both? I thought they were on different releases?
My Amp Pro just got this.

My Amp has just received this update, but after reading the release notes, I don't think it contains anything of interest to me.

Same. I was hoping I was finally getting the beta firmware for automatically subwoofer timing but still no idea when that is arriving. Yet again WiiM ignore direct questions about it.

I’m sure if that was Dlna cast it would be slam dunk. Same here that update did not really excite me. I’m more interested on improving rc like independent peq rc which hasn’t released yet.

We’re among whose interest in further making rc more sophisticated that may one day will come close to Dirac. I have no personal experience on Dirac just seeing it online. I’m thinking that independent peq rc would probably release when they can integrate sub as well as auto level and timing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the RC in the latest app. My response looks flat between 30 and 400Hz. It was never that flat before. Although I had never tried boosting the sub by 15dB before either 😃

I did the sweep on this new app with various range from 20 to 500, 20 to 1k and 20 to 4k. It was flat. The previous app was zig zag. I think for those people want to correct all the way to 20k with enough adjustment may want to go over more than 10 band which wiim won’t extend beyond 10. There some tweeter especially soft dome or fabric tend to roll off 3db down by the time it reach 20k.

They are actively working on that feature. We don’t know when it will be ready or it may go to beta stage.
Hi Smartplug, Team

We now have the first version of USB audio with Subwoofer Out functionality up and running. There are still a few issues we need to address before releasing it for Beta testing. We're aiming to release it within the next two weeks, so stay tuned!
