Has anyone received this update yet? I saw one unconfirmed report in another thread soon after release.

Since the this Amp and the latest Pro Plus update too showed up „immediately“ my guess is that they somehow speed up the batches or reorganized them which put me in front of the queue…

Has anyone been able to use Qobuz connect with the recent update for the amp? I’m not able to see the WiiM amp target in the app.

The beta for Qobuz Connect hasn’t been released yet - sometime next week was the estimate. Plus the version number will likely show “beta” as well.

Hi! Tell me, when resetting the settings to factory settings, Wiim Amp will download the latest firmware for updating or will install the firmware sequentially from the very first one. It may sound strange, but after the last update, something happened to the sound. I use Wiim Amp as a streamer with an external DAC Fiio K11 R2R. I don't want to listen to music for a few days, the sound has changed for the worse, I haven't changed anything in my system. I remembered that I had updated the firmware and after that everything changed. Is there a way to restore the previous firmware?

When you reset it downloads just the latest firmware.

If you wish an earlier version, you’d need to contact WiiM. However, before doing that try power cycling your Amp (disconnect it from the mains power supply and the re-connect it) to see if that helps.

And to be perfectly clear: A factory reset does not revert the firmware at all, so it might not download anything if the previously installed firmware is still the newest. In this case it will just look for a new firmware during setup but not actually download anything.

Thanks. My usual pitfall of responding without thinking on just wakening up 😂

It's clear. I only turn on the amplifier when I'm listening to music, so it's usually off. It turns out that it was disconnected from the power supply several times after the update. Has anyone noticed the sound degradation? And how do I contact Wiim?

To contact WiiM, use the more/feedback section in the WiiM Home app explaining the issue in as much detail as you can and outline the steps you have already taken.

I haven't noticed any changes. Are you using EQ?

No, I don't use the EQ. Perhaps this is due to the correction or modification of the usb-out in the new firmware.
Which correction of usb out? I don’t see anything like that mentioned in the release notes above. There is a separate beta firmware for sub and usb out though
