When I turned off hdmi auto-sensing, the problem got worse. I set it to plus 10db on hdmi, so the volume gets bigger. Plus, the song can't stop on the music app. After manually changing to wifi, I had to change from the music app to googlecast to stop the music.

I looked it up and there was an update on Ultra 2 days ago and the issue was already reported. But you're pushing the same patch on wiim amp!

I wonder if that is why not many people have reported receiving this update. Maybe it has been quietly withdrawn.

Has anyone else received this update? Has it been withdrawn? A while back I had the feeling I was the only to download an update for the amp until it suddenly seemed to reappear a week or so later 🤔

Mine is just updating as I am typing this.

My release date is 17th July, and yours should be the same when it has updated.

Just updated without my confirmation. So, I can't choose to stay on previous FW? Great.. my amp don't belongs to me? Am I right?

If this update causes you problems you can send feedback via the app and wiim are able to roll your firmware back.

Like many items nowadays, you own the item, but don’t own the firmware running it.

As mentioned above, you can request your device firmware to be rolled back if you have an issue with the current firmware version.

Thx, I know. But, it would be great to have a toggle to switch on\off auto update.

A few forum members have said they would like this option.

I suggest that you make a request for this feature via the WiiM Home App, More > Feedback.
