Wiim Amp - No sound over HDMI ARC after pausing for while

I use a WiiM AMP connected to my TV via HDMI ARC. It used to work fine but over the last couple of weeks (or even months?) there are more and more the sound turns off after pausing a movie for a while (like 15 minutes). When I continue playing then there is no sound, yet the WiiM AMP is still on and the selected input is still HDMI ARC. When I try to change the volume then I change is indicated on the TV screen (which also shows the volume is controlled on the WiiM) but there is still no sound produced. The only reliable way to fix this issue is by swithcing the WiiM'sinput channel to Line In and switching back to HDMI ARC. But this is quite annoying.
Is there any setting that keeps putting the WiiM into some sleep state or something like this?

Maybe worth to mention my setup:
There is a Fire TV stick in my TV (its remote control will turn the TV on and off).
A 10+ years old Samsung TV connected to the Wiim AMP via HDMI ARC. The WiiM AMP will be automatically switched on with the TV.

Do you have an idea how to fix this issue?

After disconnecting the power cables from the TV and WiiM, please reconnect the HDMI cable and then reconnect the power cables.

Additionally, should sound cease to be heard, please check the device screen within the WiiM app. (The current status is displayed on the device card.)

If restarting does not resolve the issue,
I recommend submitting a ticket via the feedback section in the WiiM app.
(WiiM home > More > Feedback)

Your device logs will be sent, which will help resolve the issue.

This is unrelated to the sound. It's about how the CEC discovery is handled.
TBH I wouldn‘t know the difference with regard to it‘s effect.
Actually I would‘ve thought that CEC detection might exactly be the problem here.

Does audio resume if you press the play/pause button on the WiiM remote control?

The play/pause button on the remote or in the app works similar to a mute button when e.g. HDMI ARC or analog inputs are selected.

I never really understood what is the purpose of this, and it can be quite frustrating IMO.

@WiiM Team can you comment perhaps?

If volume change still works, then CEC is ok.

Looks more like a firmware issue when paused.

Do the Now Playing page show it as paused or playing?
I have just tested the scenario and everything is working as expected for me.

Pausing the TV for 30 minutes the WiiM Home App immediately show "no sound" (the WiiM Ultra does not show that until some minutes later) and is paused. When the TV is playing again, the WiiM also starts playing again.

So no issues here, also with all HDMI settings off.

Thank you all for your input. I took some screenshot while there was no sound over HDMI ARC.
The currently playing page shows the pause button which indicates its current state is playing. Pressing the button has no effect to the sound. On the Devices page there is this icon with animated bars indicating something is playing.
The TV screen shows the volume is controlled on the WiiM. When I change the volume over the Fire TV's remote control then the white LEDs on the WiiM indicate the volume change as well. Yet there is no sound unless I switch between different inputs (in my case switching to Line In and then back to HDMI ARC).

P.S: I tried to send logs last night but I didn't find the option to send them. I was probably too tired...
