I'm really, really hoping it's fixed for good this time!
If only you'd put the favourite indicator directly on the wiim now playing screen (rather than in the 3 dot menu) I'd probably use the wiim app much more for tidal.

I'm surprised to see such a short gap between the recent, very similar Ultra release and the amp ultra.

I think the latest updates prevent me from using Wiim Ultra or Wiim Amp Ultra as lead to my Wiim minis. I can still go the other way mini as lead for Ultra and Amp Ultra.

Do you expect Tidal to never ever change their SDK again? ;)
Nope, but the random stopping using tidal connect has been happening for many months with 'fixes' along the way.
Maybe this fix is the one!

Otherwise I guess I'll be forced to try to get LMS working on my nas.

I don't understand why it takes several days for me to get the new firmware update. As of today, it is still not available to me here in Canada.

The update was only announced yesterday, and as mentioned in the first post.

“This firmware update is being rolled out in stages, with devices updating sequentially over the next few days.”

You have to learn to be patient, and wait for your turn like the rest of us. 🤔

Hi everyone, let's stay on point, and friendly please! When in doubt, choose kindness not violence.

Hopefully the link that hoohoohoo dropped helps explain how updates work. It can take several days up to a few weeks at times for an update to fully roll out. If a rollout gets paused to fix an issue, we don't usually post anything. The rollout is still in progress and your device should receive it within the next week or so. We appreciate your patience!

And for those who've already updated, please do let us know how things are going, especially on the TIDAL Connect front. We're keeping a close eye on that one. Though let me preface that with the fact that cutouts can be caused by many things and this isn't a magic bullet, just a fix for a known issue👍

I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get hit my face, but I received this update this morning. I'm really apologize for always being so handsome.
That's good, hopefully others will start to receive it soon. :)

It’s not your fault, and we’ll do our best to not hold it against you.

I don’t know when I received my update, but it was there this morning. I was blasting Casino through it last night (the only way to watch Casino), and everything seemed a-ok. And that’s that.

Received an update with a bit different build number and date

The firmware version number matches, and the date shown in that page is today's date.
Once applied, the device info screen should show the build date.

I've joined the ranks. 🦋
Tidal Connect testing will have to wait though. Like Britney, I've got to work, and it's the Ultra, not amp ultra, that's in the office.
