Hi can I ask where you downloaded your WiiM home apk from. Looking at your screenshot you appear to have the tablet version of the app. I’m running what looks like the money version.View attachment 18706Its just awesome
Got it from Wiim web. In the downloads sectionHi can I ask where you downloaded your WiiM home apk from. Looking at your screenshot you appear to have the tablet version of the app. I’m running what looks like the money version.
Thanks.
Ok. I just downloaded it from there also and all still works. Can I ask what version of the app you have. Yours app definitely looks slightly different to mine.Got it from Wiim web. In the downloads section
The last bit there is where I come unstuck.. Tried loads for my Samsung TV and none of them work. So it's impossible to complete the setup without the swipe functionality..I just downloaded the Aroua store App Store and searched on there for WiiM home. It’s the first app that comes up. Version 3.1.6.
Installed that and bingo. As I said the only other thing you need to do is have a remote app with swipe function.
Do you have a URL?Got it from Wiim web. In the downloads section

I just downloaded the official WiiM home app onto my Apple TV through the App Store. The app downloads but crashes as soon as you try and launch it.I tried sideloading the WiiM app in Google TV before and indeed the current interface turned out a bit clunky without touch input or a cursor.
Seems like an official solution, tailored to the big screen, is on the horizon though:

According to the team, an update will be coming soon.I just downloaded the official WiiM home app onto my Apple TV through the App Store. The app downloads but crashes as soon as you try and launch it.
I think it works in my device because its not an official Android TV. Its a mobile OS adapted to work as an Android TV. For instance, streaming apps don’t work. Its a device intended for having a local collection of movies with a NAS or a drive attachedI just downloaded the official WiiM home app onto my Apple TV through the App Store. I'll just wait for this..According to the team, an update will be coming soon.
An app for Google TV is also planned.![]()
Odd. I just looked in the Play Store on my Shield and it says there is no compatible version. Is that where you found it?For anyone interested to know the Wiim home app can be added and used on android tv/Nvidia shield. I managed to get it working and all the functions work fine. The app is a bit clunky with the remote but a mouse would help. If all your interested in is displaying album art it’s great.
No I didn’t get it from the play store for my Shield. I got it from the Aurora store.Odd. I just looked in the Play Store on my Shield and it says there is no compatible version. Is that where you found it?
OK, thanks. Guess I'll just keep an eye open for it.No I didn’t get it from the play store for my Shield. I got it from the Aurora store.
Anyway it looks like the official WiiM home app for Tv is coming very soon. It’s already available on the apple TvOS store.
There's no official news about an Android/Google TV version yet. Only a (buggy) beta for Apple TV for now. When will it be available in the official play store?
The Apple TV app seems to be working perfectly for me. No bugs. There's no official news about an Android/Google TV version yet. Only a (buggy) beta for Apple TV for now.
