WiiM constantly hijacks my Tidal stream

It seems as long as the WiiM ultra is on I cannot pick up the stream on my iPhone without constant interruption. Hitting the resume button to have it stream to my phone is only a temporary quick fix as it keeps reoccurring constantly.

Does anyone have a fix?

I wonder if this fix in another thread would help with my issue.

“Please try disabling the "Prefer DNS Server 8.8.8.8" by navigating to Device Settings -> Network Status -> Prefer DNS Server in the WiiM Home app, and check if this resolves the issue.”
 
I do that when I run my TV via optical out through my stereo system. So I guess I already tried that right? Thanks for helping.
I was suggesting that to see if it would break whatever link the Tidal app/ Ultra thought it still had - switching away and back like that can help clear the play queue/link that was previously in use. If you had been using Bluetooth, try turning it off too.

When it happens again, submit a ticket to WiiM via the settings/feedback section of the WiiM home app so they can identify the underlying cause. Good luck.
