WiiM Mini beeping occasionally

I am occasionally hearing music pause and a beep

It is definitely WiiM Mini because it is the only source feeding my RME ADI-2 DAC/headphone amp, playing to my headphones.

Anyone else hear it?

I have no alarms, and WiiM not paired via bluetooth to anything

Music pause, so continues from exactly that point when the sound comes back, or music "muting" for a brief period?

Also, does the same happen if you (shudder...) plug the headphones into the mini's aux out?
