WiiM mini with Dac

I have the WiiM mini in my bedroom connected with optical cable to my Klipsch Fives Maclaren Edition.
Although I’m happy with the sound quality I’m getting, I was reading about the FiiO K11 r2r and wondered whether putting this between the WiiM mini and then sending the audio signal via RCA cables to my speakers would be an improvement to the Klipsch fives onboard DA.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I used it for a long time, with SMSL DO100. Not any issues even with sample rate changing. I think it's one of the perfect coupling for the mini...

I don’t know but I’ve now realised another issue, the FiiO can only output a maximum 96khz over optical input so no playing 192 kHz tracks on Qobuz as the WiiM mini has only got the one optical TOSLINK output.
I know the FiiO can play 192 through the coaxial input.

there should be no audible difference between 96kHz and 192kHz.

I know that but I was annoyed that the fiio Dac would completely refuse to play any 192 kHz tracks so hence I bought an optical to coaxial converter to run into the dac.
Now the dac sends 192 to the Klipsch, and no it probably sounds exactly the same just bothered me a little.
