Wiim pro..Noise on the line out

I have a Wiim pro and the USB power brick(non wiim) expired overnight, the usb cable end was a bit blackened, i swapped out the cable and USB power brick and it still works, i ha e tried the optical out and it works as it should but the line out is hery noisy and a constant high level hum, is there anything i can do?

What voltage was the power adapter you were using? Was it a smartphone charger?

If you were using a power adapter with a voltage higher than 5V, that might have caused the malfunction. What kind of power adapter are you currently using?

Yes it was a phone charger adapter, lesson learned, at the moment I’m using an Amazon adapter and seems ok.
Is there anything I can do about the noise or just have to accept it?

Is the Amazon adapter for a Fire TV or something similar? Please make sure it outputs 5V and at least 2A.

Try another power supply. The noise may be coming from the power brick.
