Hi,
I'm enjoying my Pro Plus but I cannot make it work with my Zen Mini Mk 3. The Pro Plus 'sees' the Zen under 'Home Music Share' but its contents are empty. Any ideas anyone?
TIA

Hi,
can you confirm how you configured Home Music Share, Media Server or Shared Folder ?
What format are you audio files ?

HI, I havn't configured Home Music Share. Firstly, there's no configuration possible. Seccondly the manual states 'you can play content from other DLNA servers with no additional set up'

Can you access the zen from bubbleupnp (android) or mconnect (iOS)? As I understand it, the Zen has AssetUPNP at its core so should be easily accessible by the WiiM Home app.

Are your phone, WiiM device and Zen all on the same network?

I mean if I use PiCorePlayer /LMS I can both 'see' and play files on the Zen Mini over UPNP
Sorry, I'm asking which client (not server) software are you using? LMS doesn't play over UPNP unless you have enabled the UPNP Bridge plugin which you wouldn't need for the Pro Plus as it has a native LMS/squeezelite client. Are you using the Material skin or other LMS client to play?

The reason I asked if you had tried either the UPNP client apps I suggested was to see if they properly handle the Zen as a UPNP server. If they do, we could then better understand if the WiiM Home app was at fault.

Thanks. Rather than being based on AssetUPNP as I thought and mentioned above, other googling suggests it actually has LMS/Lyrion at its core. As such, it wouldn't be directly accessible via the WiiM Home app unless it had enabled the obsolescent UPNP/DLNA interface plugin - if it allows that degree of customisation.

If you're using the Material Skin, doesn't the Pro Plus appear as a player there? Check in the WiiM app under its device settings that it has Squeezelite enabled.

Alternatively, there would appear to be a setting which could make your Zen visible as a UPNP server in which case you should be able to browse i from the WiiM Home app - see SYSTEM 🞂 SETTINGS 🞂 INTEGRATIONS 🞂 UPnP page in the Innuos Sense app.

Hi,
PiCore Player cannot see the Pro Plus, altho My Macs inc. Phone can see it and play via Airplay.

The Zen is correctly set under 'Integration' to be seen as a UPNP

The Zen can 'see' the Pro Plus under Network Streamers and it's configured in compatibility mode. As mentioned before the Pro Plus 'sees' the Zen but not its contents......

Could you please try one of the apps I mention in comment #5 to see if this is a WiiM Home app issue or a Zen UPNP server issue?

The Zen can see the Pro Plus and I can even send music to it, but the Pro Plus says 'no music selected' even tho the music countdown is happening on the Zen

I don't see that any of those would help. As stated the Zen can see the Pro Plus and send music to it but the Pro Plus doesn't play anything despite a countdown on the Zen. Meanwhile Picore Player /LMS can both see and play anything on the Zen. There's nothing else configurable on the Pro Plus. So my easiest solution is to send it back as faulty rather than spend hours trying things, if it is supposed to work in this way
