Just grabbed a Pro during Amazon’s Prime Day sale.

Would I be able to swap my new Pro into my system using the Mini’s power supply, or is the V/A rating drastically different?

I only ask so I can avoid moving furniture if I don’t have to. I’m connecting via Optical digital to my receiver, not using DAC.

I've seen reports of weird behavior of the Mini which looked like power instability, and replacing the stock PSU for something stronger helped. So it's possible that 1A may be not enough even for the Mini.

Thanks guys. Guess I'll dust off the furniture sliders, then.

FWIW, I haven't had any such "weird behavior" with my Mini and the stock PSU, which has been up and running well over year now.

Single reports rarely indicate something more common ;)

If Wiim pro have usb probably for that reason have 2 amp power supply,to have more juice for some hungry hard disk,i think will be more than ok with mini power supply if pro work with 5 volts.
