I've had a stereo pair of Wiim Sounds in my living room and love how they sound. Today I got my sub pro to go with them. I'm not a big fan of roomfit and I always just use the peq to my liking. Plus when trying a roomfit on the sub, since I don't have an external mic it got limited down to 60hz only.
Anyways, I had to compromise with the Mrs and the only spot for my sub is behind our couch with only a couple inches from the couch and rear wall. It's an apartment so the living room is not too big. For the most part it sounds ok, but I would like to get a more "together " sound with my Sounds that are on two bookshelves about 9-10 feet in front of my couch and about 8 feet or so apart from each other. Some songs do sound together and can't really tell where the bass is coming from while others I can tell the bass is behind me and the couch.
My current sub settings are crossover at 75, +8 on the level and 0°. On my Sounds I have a hpf at 60. Any general suggestions to get a more blended sound? Or am I just screwed due to my setup/sub placement that really isn't negotiable right now.
