Hi everyone,
I got the Sub Pro over the weekend. It’s my first sub, so apologies if I’m missing something obvious or if there’s a simple fix I am not aware.
So far, the only stable connection I can use is wired, since the wireless drops out often.
Wired works around 80% of the time, but a few issues keep showing up:
Setup: WiiM Ultra >Yamaha S-501> Mission speakers >WiiM Sub Pro (wired).
Ultra and sub are updated, and I did a factory reset after.
At this point, I will have them turned off, too much messing about, and if I am not at home family is not able to set it up.
If anyone has seen similar behavior or found stable settings that work with the Ultra + Sub Pro setup, I’d really appreciate any advice or confirmation that this is known behavior.
Cheers!

Wired works around 80% of the time, but a few issues keep showing up:
- The sub can’t be turned off – even when set to Off, it keeps playing.
- Levels change frequently, depending on input. Switching from Radio Paradise to Hotmix or from Spotify to TV always needs manual adjustment. Sometimes, levels even go up on their own during the same input/station play.
- The crossover limit jumps between 110 Hz and 250 Hz without any clear reason.
- The phase control doesn’t seem to have any audible effect, even at higher volumes.
- The speakers play bass option disappears randomly from the app.
