Hi. I'm currently using the Wiim Ultra and the Wiim Sub Pro together. I'm an Android user and currently use Power Amp (mp3), YouTube Music, Tidal, and Melon (a Korean streaming app). After using various music players, I noticed that the Wiim Sub Pro doesn't work at all when streaming via Chromecast with YouTube Music or Power Amp. Tidal works fine. Melon allows me to choose between Chromecast streaming and DNLA, but when I select Chromecast streaming, the Sub Pro doesn't work. When I run YouTube Music within the Wiim Home app, the Sub Pro works fine. When I play MP3s stored on my smartphone within the Wiim Home app, the Sub Pro also works fine. All experiments were performed with the same song. It appears to be a problem with Chromecast streaming. Does anyone have the same problem as me?

Hi
Have you already submitted a support ticket?

I recommend submitting a ticket via the feedback section in the WiiM app.
(WiiM home > More > Feedback)

Your device logs will be sent, which will help resolve the issue.

How is the Sub Pro connected to your Ultra? If it is connected wirelessly, can you try connecting it by cable to see if this resolves your problem.

Hi, see this section at the bottom of the sub pro faq page:

Limitations (Wireless Mode Only)

We are actively working to resolve the following limitation as soon as possible.

Currently, When the WiiM Sub Pro is used in wireless mode, it may not produce bass during the following types of music playback:
  • Alexa multi-room music
  • Roon Ready
  • LMS
  • Google Cast

So, a wired connection would resolve the situation until WiiM can possibly resolve the wireless issues.

Thank you very much. I didn't check the FAQ.
