Hello,

I’m using a WiiM Ultra device and noticed that a new feature was recently added to the app that allows performing a one-time On/Off trigger.
I would like to ask whether there is an available REST API endpoint that returns the current device state (On / Off).

My goal is to rely on this status information in order to build external automations that are not dependent on the device’s internal trigger system, but instead are based on querying the device state via an API.

Any clarification or documentation reference would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi there, I’m aware of this API documentation, and I’m actually using it for other automations I have. However, unfortunately, the trigger-on/off functionality isn’t readily available in the documentation.

If you want to send a trigger-off command in the application, you need to navigate to Devices, then Settings, and finally 12v Trigger, where you can select Trigger Off Once.

I’m interested in controlling this functionality using automations like Home Assistant or iPhone shortcuts to turn it off more conveniently. I noticed that WiiM recently added this functionality, but it’s somewhat hidden within the application and not easily accessible.
