Wiim ultra refusing to play certain Qobuz tracks

I honestly think it is a Qobuz issue period, nothing to do with resolution. A friend has Spotify high res and comes over and streams on my system and wiim ultra, has not had one hiccup yet, works flawlessly.

Correct. Resolution is mentioned because it seems to happen with a few Qobuz hires tracks. Not a general hires playing issue, but one on some Qobuz hires tracks.

Good evening, I confirm, same problem with my Wiim Ultra and Qobuz. Several 24/96 tracks have been skipping for about a week. I've tried restarting the modem and applications several times, but to no avail. This problem occurs to me both in Qobuz Connect and within the Wiim Home app. The only way to get the affected track to play is to lower the playback quality to 16/44.1 audio CD. But this way Hi-Res goes to waste and Qobuz no longer makes sense. I'm really annoyed.

The explanation Qobuz gives - pains while moving to the cloud - is pretty lame. Which cloud? AWS, MS, Google?

I dont believe it is. So then what do you set it to when it refuses to play CD quality songs? It also refuses to play some of those as well.
Holly Cole temptation album, refused to play track 7 and 8, all CD 16/44 resolution.
I didn't say high resolution, I said resolution. Specific resolutions for specific songs seem to not be there when using connect.

I am not using connect, just the wiim app. So if a 16/44 resolution does not play, what do you set the resolution to? As far as I know there is no cassette tape resolution setting.😂 Qobuz issue NOT a resolution issue.

Just a note here, the songs that were causing me grief and not playing now seem to be playing fine. I made no changes to the resolution settings or anything else so the problem was obviously not on my end.

What’s your geographical Qobuz server source?

I have also noticed fewer problems today, so it seems Qobuz is finally getting a handle on the issue.

Today for me it's like yesterday. Several tracks with 24/96 resolution (only this resolution) are systematically skipped and go directly to the next one. This happens with both Qobuz Connect and the Wiim app. If I go to change the playback resolution on Qobuz and set CDs to 16/44.1, all the tracks are played.

How could WiiM have done that without updating your devices firmware and/or the WiiM Home App? I think they could not. :)

Now, how could Qobuz have done that when migrating their cloud servers? Easily! :D

When I configure the Qobuz app on the Wii Ultra to CD quality, the files play without any problems; the same is true for Qobuz Connect. Admittedly, you lose the high-resolution audio quality, but CD resolution is more than sufficient while we wait for the issue to be resolved.

I have the same problem with the Genesis album Selling England by the Poud. Track 3, Firth of Fifth, is skipped.

I also have exact the same problem.

Al 3 WiiM devices refuses some songs from Qobuz. And there is no difference if I use the Qobuz App or Qobus Connect in the WiiM App.

The "problem-songs" are playing fine if I use the PC (USB DAC) or the Smartphone (only for testing).

The problem is also occurring with other online streamers. Qobuz is migrating its archives, and this has caused problems for several users. I hope they fix it quickly, otherwise I think they'll lose a lot of customers.

My whole country is facing this issue. At first only a few songs were unplayable, but now Qobuz simply doesn't work - authentication and login both fail.

Same issue here. I can't play the song "Time Flies" on Porcupine Tree's "The Incident". Doesn't matter if I use the Qobuz app or the Wiim app. It plays fine on my Android phone.
