It doesn’t matter what the original resolution was or what I set it to, tracks that dont play, just dont play regardless, period. Whether I set it to cd resolution or not. NOT a resolution issue. When I configure the Qobuz app on the Wii Ultra to CD quality, the files play without any problems; the same is true for Qobuz Connect. Admittedly, you lose the high-resolution audio quality, but CD resolution is more than sufficient while we wait for the issue to be resolved.
Qobuz have finally admitted thisIt doesn’t matter what the original resolution was or what I set it to, tracks that dont play, just dont play regardless, period. Whether I set it to cd resolution or not. NOT a resolution issue.
Qobuz have finally admitted this
It doesn't really say anything. A later response says they told partners about the discovered issue yesterday. Obviously WiiM are a little slow at spreading the news
WiiM is now responsible for being a (Bad) Press Agent for other Companies?? I wouldn't think the "Blame Game" would buy WiiM any future cooperation from Qobuz...It doesn't really say anything. It is hardly a "blame game" when Qobuz have admitted it.WiiM is now responsible for being a (Bad) Press Agent for other Companies?? I wouldn't think the "Blame Game" would buy WiiM any future cooperation from Qobuz...
The track I posted before it is already fixed.Correct! It also occurs with certain tracks on Audirvana Studio. Here is an example of a 192kHz/24 album LINK where the issue occurs on the first track. All WiiM streamers I tried either via Connect or through the embedded Qobuz app do not play this track directly Neither does Audirvana. The Qobuz app plays it fine at its stated resolution.
As others realized, when using the Qobuz app via Connect a WiiM streamer plays that track when the output resolution is reduced to either 96kHz or Redbook.
