Hello, I've encountered a problem where the sub output on my WIIM Ultra sub output problemexperienced this issue before? When connected to an active speaker or another player's sub output, the subwoofer works fine. I've tried replacing the cable and restoring factory settings, but nothing has changed. Thank you in advance for your responses!

Hello @TS73,

I think we need some more information here. Did you enable the subwoofer output ninnthe WiiM Home app? Can you post a screenshot of the subwoofer settings you use?

What subwoofer make and model are you connecting to your WiiM Ultra?

When testing (and most probably also for later use) you should disable "Main Speakers Output Bass".

"Subwoofer Bypass Mode" enabled can be helpful during testing, but is usually not the best option for perfect integration between mains and sub.

If you disconnect your power amplifier or active speakers, can you hear any output from the subwoofer? Is there some noise or nothing at all? Does turning the subwoofer's volume knob make any difference?

I recommend using the LFE input, not one of the line inputs and setting the crossover frequency knob to maximum, to be on the safe side.

My WiiM isn't outputting any sound to the subwoofer. It was working perfectly fine a few days ago. The active speaker subwoofer works with both outputs. LFE/Line in ok

So what have you tried so far to resolve the issue? If the problem started after a firmware update you should definitely try to power cycle the WiiM Ultra, first. Remove the mains power, let it sit for a minute, reconnect the mains power.

You can always send feedback to WiiM directly via the Wiim Home app. Go to the "More" tab and hit "Feedback". Device logs will be send along with your description so WiiM engineers might be able to see what went wrong and how to fix it.

This forum is mostly a user community, not the primary support channel.

I've already been through all of that, I sent feedback through the application and according to them everything is fine. For now, that's it, I'm sending the product back and they will investigate it.
