hi WiiM community,

Had tried using the WiiM Ultra USB input to serve music from a 64GB USB thumb drive.

[WiiM Ultra is set to fixed output and the volume is control by an integrated amplifier.]

It can serve the music tracks from the usb stick but there seems to be a problem… The playback volume (on the USB input) is at least 6dB lower compared to the playback from the NAS or Opt Input. [bearing in mind for the same volume setting on the amplifier]

Does any of us tried and also notice this too?

Is this a malfunction of the unit or what?
In this case the volume is controlled by the music files on your drive. So maybe created with low gain?

I play some files the same way and don't hear any difference

Thanks for the confirmation. Had just made a new copy from the NAS to the thumb drive and it now has the same volume level. :)
