Wiim Ultra with Musical Fidelity M5s

Hello!
I have ordered a Wiim Ultra . I have a question how to best combine it with the Musical Fidelity M5si? RCA, coxial?
How to make the quality is the best .
I would like to connect the TV with hdmi arc to wiim ultra and then wiim to M5si.

The question is whether I still need a DAC. Many people use the topping E50 but is it better than the dac in the wiim , and therefore is it still needed .

Please help and suggestions

Your kit, speakers, room acoustics, preferences, ears and brain are all different to everyone else’s so only you can decide - try each option and choose whichever sounds best to you.

If you can borrow a Topping DAC then by all means try that too, but you may find the Ultra sounds fine on its own.

If I'm not mistaken, this amp doesn't have a coax input (nor optical).
The usb is apparently "limited" to 96khz, and right now the ultra doesn't have a max or fixed sample rate out over usb.

So... RCA it is.
