Wireless SUB integration into the "subwoofer" pages in the app

Hi there,

if I understand my newly bought Wiim Amp Pro's app, there's a Bluetooth out available.
I thought I might use it for a wireless subwoofer.

1. Is it possible at all ? (I assume yes, haven't tried yet).

2. If yes, it's kind of second device I assume - can it be configured from the Wiim under the "subwoofer" section ?
It would be nice to be able to mark a Bluetooth-out connected device as a sub so it appears then on the sub subpage :) With delay, etc.. to be fair.
If the RCA sub is already here in the settings, maybe a 2nd config page for the 2nd (wireless) sub ? Or just beneath the RCA-activated sub's already existing config items.

Unfortunately this is not possible.

The Bluetooth can only be used to output the normal stereo signal.

Only the dedicated sub output is controlled by the WiiM subwoofer configuration.

Hmm thank you. Then integrating the bluetooth-sub remains a task of it's own capabilities to some extent and we global-EQ the rest I assume.

On the other hand it's a perfect feature request then. ;)

I don't think you can do that. The stereo out signal can only go to one output at the time .You cannot send signal to both Bluetooth other speakers.

Maybe you can add a Bluetooth transmitter to the subwoofer out on the WiiM? I think that would work.

You're right. The only way to add another sub (and get some latency) is a transmitter.

Or, a WiiM mini can be connected to the sub and linked to the WiiM amp pro for group playback. In this case, there is no low-pass filter for the sub, but a 10-band PEQ can be used exclusively for the sub.

Perhaps this might be relevant - though I suspect it will not use BT:
