Would an Ethernet dongle work on the WIIM mini

Hi,
one of my online friends asked the question, if an Ethernet dongle like this would work (with adapter) on the USB C power socket of the WIIM Mini. I couldn't see fit but have neither have experience with that dongle device nor a dongle at hand to try.
@WiiM Support could you clearify ?
