Hi,

I currently have a select account at Klassik radio which enables 180 high quality, ad-free, radio channels. I'm able to find Klassik radio via TuneIn, though then I'm not able to use my account at Klassik Radio resulting in ads, ads and more ads.... Not to mention the lack of the high quality channels (320kbps). The only way to actually listen to the channels is to use their own app and then cast to my Wiim Audio Pro's via Chromecast.

As far as I can see open network stream does not enable a login prompt right? Is there any other way to unlock/enable the channels and the ad-free content I'm currently paying for in Wiim?

All suggestions are most welcome, thanks!

What's keeping you from using this option?
I’m with you on this and even on services like YouTube. When there’s an already existing feature rich app or service whose bandwidth is more than accommodated by Chromecast, why potentially reduce the experience by wanting to use the WiiM home app which won’t have access to many of the features thru whatever third party API they have at their disposal?

Some might clamour for a universal, all single all dancing app for WiiM, but I guess a lot of us get by using different apps like Netflix, Apple TV+, DisneyPlus, Now TV, Prime Video etc when watching video content on our smart TV. I don’t see using different music apps on my phone as any different.

I fully get your point here though I'm a, perhaps too, convenient man aiming for exactly that "universal, all single all dancing app for WiiM".
The streaming apps for TV is a great comparison. I had the same issue there previously. Having to go through 4-5 different streaming subscriptions in order to locate that particular film you want to see... Call me lazy or just plain crazy but I can't say I'm a fan of that process.

Come to think of it Music assistant does just this for music. Only to realize I should check there first... :P

Try installing Audials on your tablet & cast to Wiims. It's a free app. You will be amazed at what it can do 😁
