Adding to Favourites?

Despite a screen that says you can ‘add to Favourites ‘ by pressing the … or pressing the when playing, in real life this doesn’t seem to be possible when streaming .
Are these options only for playing from a library track (of which I have none) ?

Have you had a reply to your question. I have the same problem
I don't have the three dots referred to in the manual on my screen and can see no other way to add the current track to favourites
