Amazon Music Unlimited Audio Books

Amazon Music Unlimited just recently offered one audio book/month. In my car yesterday I listened to a book for three hours. I tried to Chromecast it to the Wiim Ultra today and it's a no go. BT only?

Looks like it. I don’t believe WiiM devices support Audible, same as they don’t support Apple Music even though real echos do.

Actually, I think you did well to get that far - I can’t get to a page where I can cast an audible book even to an echo on my iPad Amazon music app…

The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen speakers work. I figured since it was integrated into the Amazon Music App it would work. Guess I was wrong.

If I try connecting to a device before I start playback, the book just plays on my iPad. If I start the book first, I can’t seem to be able to navigate to a casting page. Anyway, guess it’s moot as WiiM devices don’t support audible. Pity…

Looks like casting audiobooks from Amazon Music is still tricky. I’ve had the same problem with my speakers too. Bluetooth seems to work best for now. I hope, Amazon makes this better soon.

I gave up trying to get Audible to work - I just use Bluetooth to headphones..
