I have had an Ultra for two weeks now and was also searching for a suitable amplifier. It turns out that here in the Netherlands a company had the idea to make a suitable amplifier for the Ultra and it was introduced last week. I ordered it immediately and expect to receive it at the end of this week.

The idea is awesome, following the Ultra's dimensions, but I find a bit weird they chose to surround it with the black glass look like the Ultra's screen... Why not just go with metal all around? Would've looked a lot cleaner probably.

Now I think I'd still prefer the Audiophonics version when it comes to looks/size + it's a bit cheaper while you're getting the exact same amp.

I had the same thought, but I think they wanted it to match the silver and space gray version somehow. For me it's not a real issue, equipment is in a corner where you hardly see the sides.

Amp for Wiim Ultra (set up help)

Hello all, I bought 2 Fosi v3 mono amps. Now I dont know how to connect them :( Apparently, the Wiim Ultra is designed to connect (via 1 cord) to a single AVR or Amp, NOT 2 monoblocks. What am I missing? Pics of the 2 devices (Ultra and Fosi) attached You can definitely connect your WiiM Ultra...

Nice, I would order the NC252MP variant for just 50 € more to have enough power reserve for the future.

I am sorely tempted. Looks awesome, and you get cutting edge amplifier tech inside. Somebody talk me out of it :p.

If you choose to buy it, take the NC252MP with more power for just 50€ more. That will give you enough power for all future upgrades.

I can recommend the NC252MP in combination with the Ultra. It is what I use.
