If it were me I'd definitely get the amp ultra.

I'm perhaps biased - I simply don't like the vibelink using its analog inputs.
Couple this with really "needing" a trigger input so it's easy to turn on and, imo, it's best used with a device with both a trigger out and digital out.

Ages ago, for testing, I used the (normal, streamer) Ultra's analog input to see if I could tell a difference due to the additional adc / dac involved.
tbh, I bet I couldn't if my eyes were closed.
i.e. no, I don't think it'd be a disaster.
You should get far more benefit from eq and roomfit than any possible detriment from the additional adc / dac.

I got your point but thats unfortunately not my case I have just rca out in bdp. Not easy to find here second hand marantz that has coax out and reads also all format in that case I would not think 1 second...

I agree with @Mr Ee, the advantages of having the WiiM Amp Ultra (RoomFit, EQ, remote control, etc.) will far outweigh any theoretical downside of one additional ADC and DAC.

You have right that is deembeder that I have used before but kanex...I don't know how I forgot that..yes then sacd will be pcm 24/88 and dvda 24/96/192 via coax and optical..one more box but it works...thanks d6jg!!

One clarification or..question for d6jq and harkpabst...I think that finaly I will finish with triangle connect but will add pro plus cheaper option for my budget. I have asked chatgpt up to him triangle doesn't apply adc on rca input although anyway d6jq solved me that issue for my blu ray player. I would like to know about analog output when we use wiim AKM internal dac..Amir measurements on ASR input output were nothing special although I didn't understood point for just output. So in short if we use pro plus just as dac what we get on analog output. If chat is wrong with triangle rca input than I get nothing in this scenario but anyway I would like to know about rca output quality...people here know that in details. Peq and room connection are nice things I need them so I'm OK with any other scenario related with my question.

What exactly are your going to compare?

According to Amir's review the digital performance of the WiiM Pro Plus (including it's DAC) is quite excellent. The ADC of the analogue input is just OK.
