If it were me I'd definitely get the amp ultra.

I'm perhaps biased - I simply don't like the vibelink using its analog inputs.
Couple this with really "needing" a trigger input so it's easy to turn on and, imo, it's best used with a device with both a trigger out and digital out.

Ages ago, for testing, I used the (normal, streamer) Ultra's analog input to see if I could tell a difference due to the additional adc / dac involved.
tbh, I bet I couldn't if my eyes were closed.
i.e. no, I don't think it'd be a disaster.
You should get far more benefit from eq and roomfit than any possible detriment from the additional adc / dac.
