Apple Music question

I have an old iPad. If I hook it up to the Ultra’s usb connection with a lightning to usb cable will I be able to play Apple Music in high res? Or is the usb not able to do that? Thanks.

Any of these hacks enable Wimm Ultra EQ for Apple Music? I currently use iPad direct to dac for both Apple Music and amazon unlimited.
My interest in Wimm Ultra is the EQ capability. I have read more than a few negative Wimm/Amazon unlimited reviews when not using Alexa/Echo type Amazon devices, none of which I own. I just received a Black Friday priced Wimm Ultra with a 30 day return policy and
am debating whether to even open the package. Shame on me. I naively assumed I would be good to go EQ enabled with just the Amazon
Unlimited app.

If you use the Amazon Music app, or indeed Amazon Music from within the WiiM Home app, then any EQ/peq/room correction you set will be applied to the music stream.
Re Apple Music, if you continue to use a wired connection such as had been discussed in this thread, it will similarly get EQ etc applied - the WiiM in that case just sees it as an input audio stream.
