Audio Pro EU Availability?

I emailed Audio pro to ask when it would be available in the UK, and got a reply " I'm sorry but I don't have any info about this".
:(

Heard rumors that they are thinking about increasing their stuff for answering mails and calls from too many news-horny WiiM fans ;-)

I emailed Wiim today to see if I could get any information on it expected due date.

Any News in that regard?

Or are the regular audio pro speaker compatible as well?

I would like to see Wiim bringing it's own little aktive speaker for making Multiroom more easy

Nothing as yet.

In a limited manner only e.g. grouping, but for full compatibility EQ/PEQ/RC and all the other features, you need the WiiM Edition versions.

Who knows what might come in the future…

The regular version has no room correction.
According to eq features only a Treble bass slide.
As @Burnside mentioned for full compitability:Wiim version.
I will wait for the wiim version ofcourse.
Could there be a long term collaboration with Wiim, Audiopro?
All their spelers would have full compitability.
Audiopro stands for top quality, wifi, multiroom connections, app functionality( Linkplay), passion for Audio..could they find eachother in the long term,.. or is this a strange question to ask?
Dont know only speculating on this subject.

The WiiM Edition isn’t sold by them, so I’m not surprised.
Just for UK WiiM users info, as there hasn't been anything here on the EU/UK version for a while - on January 17th, I emailed Audio Pro too (I wasn't aware that it wasn't them who sold it, either), and got a very swift reply saying:
"The A10 MkII WiiM Edition will be available in the UK starting February 5th, 2025."
As it still hadn't turned up anywhere by then I sent another email, politely asking why it still hadn't appeared, and got this back:
"Thank you for your follow-up message.
We are sorry for any disappointment caused, but there seems to be a delay with the release of this model.
I am really sorry, but we do not have any further update at this time, but do check in with us from time to time and be sure to keep an eye on our website as well."
So it looks like they don't seem to be able to throw any further light on the subject for now......
"..there seems to be a delay with the release of this model...", sounds like it's not an issue they are in control of, but they're not saying who is 😕

Question would be..is it sure they will release those wiim models in the EU? They will have to sell their 'regular'version too..that could be the issue here don,t you think?
Yes the 'regular'version is cheaper but won,t they be even cheaper when the WIIM edition is available? Will people stilll choose for the non WIIM version..?
I wonder if they release this in EUROPE there,s no one who officially confirmed this...have they?
Most of it could be a maybe..but no one said they will...
If i,m wrong: Show a statement where someone says it will be released in Europe. If it has been said by mail you cant rely on this?..because who said this..it,s not a officially confirmation.
If they were planning this why not saying it on a website..

Hmmm....
I'm not sure about that...... after all, they're selling their 'regular' version in the States as well, aren't they?
As it already exists in the US, and apparently it's Wiim that sells it there, it seems more likely to be a WiiM issue.
Maybe WiiM could enlighten us.....
😟😉

What are the price differences in the US between the 2 versions?
Why choosing the non Wiim version other than the price difference..
Where can you cleary see_ on the audio pro website_ that there are 2 different versions? Or are they " hiding"this a bit on the Audiopro website??
Is it even visible on the Audio pro web page?
Could you tell us more on this?

Does anyone have any technical data or an explanation as to why WiiM can't run on any Audio Pro speaker?

It's my understanding WiiM/Linkplay/Audi Pro app is all in the same bed together so what's the limitation? Seems like if they just put WiiM integration in all the speakers it could be beneficial to them.

I've noticed in my research of Audio Pro speakers a trend of very unenthusiastic customer support which is disappointing...

Maybe that's where the difference is. Audio Pro is selling hardware with included software, while WiiM is selling software running on their hardware.

"with the integration of WiiM OS [the speakers are] smarter than ever at a time when multiroom rivals have lost their streaming smarts".

Ok smarter for some..but not for every one..and why not delevering all the extra,s on all you,re speakers?
Not for everyone... because Europe isn,t included....yet?? But who says they will.?

Again i wonder if you live in the US you can clearly see on the Audiopro page , there are 2 different versions? Or is the Wiim one in 'hiding, on the site if you know what i mean. Can you cleary see the 2 versions on the Audiopro Amazon page?

No Wiim version in the EU.. Audiopro a EU based company. It isn,t strange there will be questions isnt,it? ,and they will be louder..

This two different version thing is not going to benefit anyone, I can tell you that from a customer standpoint... I believe it's going to cause more issues for both brands.

According to the US Amazon site, it's $229 for the Wiim edition, and currently $229 ( - 8% - reduced from a "typical" $250), at the Audio Pro US Amazon store. You can get there by following the link on the WiiM "Shop"
So both appear to be going for the same price, currently.
This makes sense, as the "versions" are basically just two different versions of WiiM's firmware, aren't they?
The basic hardware is the same 😊
