Best version of the 1812 Overture?

I’m looking for an a$$-kicking recording of the full 1812 Overture on Apple Music. The best thing I’ve found is the Telarc version, but it’s only on YouTube (complete with annoying $&#=+% ADS!), which doesn’t help me. But what I did hear from that brief pre-commercial snippet scared the hell out of my dog, and I want more of that. Nothing I’ve found in AM yet comes close to it. I’ve been hunting for days, but AM’s search function is about the worst pile of garbage ever coded. I’m hoping somebody can help me narrow down the search a bit. Next best thing would be a CD that I could import, but I don’t know if I even have a functioning player I could rip it from any more. Thanks!

you will not find any more impressive sound with all the canon effect like on the old telarc. but the living stereo recording with fritz reiner is also worth a recommendation. and on qobuz, apple and tidal available. no idea about spotify and amazon.

I remember having a Telarc record version, or it might have been a CD version, that had a warning about Digital Cannons.

it was an ultimate test for tonearms and cartridges with the lp. and the gurus told horrible things at all the campfires about exploding speaker chassis. mostly myths. but fun indeed.

Oh yes - I did find the old telarc recording just after I posted this. Impressively frightening. But the Gothenburg Symphony version with the full chorale is also beautiful. I just blasted my living room to pieces. Thank you!
