We're excited to announce the beta is beginning for Qobuz Connect! Interested users can sign up via this Google Form. UPDATE: We've closed the survey down for now and Qobuz will reach out to people!

With Qobuz Connect you can use your Qobuz app to play directly to your WiiM devices instead of using the WiiM Home App.

Implementation Process

  1. Registration: Fill out the Google Form to express your interest. We'll need your Qobuz account and WiiM device MAC address.
  2. Selection: Users will be selected in waves based on eligibility (active Qobuz account, compatible devices).
  3. Access and Feedback: Selected participants will receive a dedicated page link to download beta applications and submit feedback.
  4. Feedback Analysis: Collected feedback will be analyzed to improve functionality and resolve issues.

Important Reminders

  • You will need to have an active Qobuz Account.
  • Please note that the WiiM Mini is not capable of supporting Qobuz Connect due to hardware limitations.
Thank you for participating!

No. I have used Tidal, Spotify and now Amazon Music but never Qobuz.
I guess your next feature set you would jump would be simultaneous usb with sub. Did they mention in 2 weeks? It has been a month since it was announced on the forum.

Sorry, but could you please tell me what you mean by "selected participants" ?

Does it mean that even if I participate in this, there is a possibility that I will not be selected?

😆 that’s what it say selected so if the opening slot for tester is 10 and your in 11 you’re not included.

Still waiting patiently for L/R room correction with subwoofer.

Will sign up as soon as I get home tomorrow :)

I waited for Qobuz Connect a long time. It seems that it is coming now but, as @Wiimer notes, it is going to be a long slow beta test process. So I got tired and went back to Apple Music. I can't explain it but Apple Music sounds better to me - could it be that these services have different masterings? I listen to Apple Music full res via a dedicated iPad wired directly to my DAC, and recently connected an Apple Airport Express (unused in storage) to the Ultra's input Toslink for full AirPlay 1 CD quality playback - excellent SQ.

Other reasons I am dropping Qobuz: (i) poor track/recording metadata (ii) awful search and selection. In addition, I also realized that my yearly Qobuz account subscription (the subscription page default) if cancelled does not pay a refund for its unused portion. What a crock! A total disregard of consumer protections.

Which devices are compatible?

I hope the beta won’t take as long as dlna cast which hasn’t seen the light of day.

Even if everyone who signs up is selected, it's still accurate. People don't have to be rejected in order for there to be selections :)

This just gives some leeway in case someone isn't included. such as if the test were to be ending soon, they probably won't add more to it.
