Same here only got the desktop app so farI got an email to join. Installed the TestFlight app and entered all my information. Haven’t received an invite code for TestFlight or confirmation for my laptop. Not sure how long it takes the get a response back from Qobuz.
About the same time for me in the uklocation UK about 15:00 GMT
I would suggest emailing Qobuz at the address they provided for clarification. But it probably wouldn't hurt to send them the device info they asked for on the online form.In the email it states “The following equipment you own is compatible with Qobuz Connect Beta: Wiim Pro.”
I have the WiiM amp. Should this matter?
I would think so, unless it was included as a dormant function in an earlier firmware update. But given Qobuz requested device info (e.g., MAC address, etc.), my hunch is that they'll coordinate with WiiM to have a beta firmware image pushed to those devices.I have the desktop app installed and just registered for testflight app presumably I need a firmware update for my Wiim too?
Not got any yet but someone will be manually adding import the request to testflight at some point. Just be patient and maybe take a break from your high horse. Not really impressed with the Beta sign up forms and lack of any indication that it's been accepted. Unless the information was filled out incorrectly I did not see a finalize prompt or an email letting me know that the information was sent and received. I have three streamers and the sign up allows two devices to be filled out at a time then I had to select add more devices. I did that and after filling out the third there wasn't an option to finalize. The only option was to add another device which I don't have a fourth device.
Did anyone receive an email back from Qobuz that stated the information was received? It said an email invitation would be sent with code for the Test Flight app. Did anyone receive an invite with code for the Test Flight app? Not sure if participating in the beta program will be worth the effort. I was going to send Qobuz an email on their beta support page with a few questions. But it asked a bunch of questions about the devices being used. I closed out of the page and didn't bother.
Once you’ve entered your Qobuz account email and then your MAC address for your device it said would probably take a moment to get your specific device “whitelisted”. I’m waiting for the code for test flight also. Let’s give Qobuz around 24-48 hours for sending us that code. Not really impressed with the Beta sign up forms and lack of any indication that it's been accepted. High horse? Yeah right. I voiced my opinion that’s all. You don’t like it then too bad.Not got any yet but someone will be manually adding import the request to testflight at some point. Just be patient and maybe take a break from your high horse.
I did not see mention of “whitelisted”. I’m actually in no rush. Just thought a message at the end of the signup that it was accepted and “we will be in touch” would have been helpful. That way anyone signing up would know they did it correctly.Once you’ve entered your Qobuz account email and then your MAC address for your device it said would probably take a moment to get your specific device “whitelisted”. I did not get that message. Maybe I did not register correctly. If I do not hear back by next week I’ll submit my information again.I received a message at the end of the registration process (no e-mail). In it, Qobuz asked me to be patient until the code for testflight is delivered, which should arrive by e-mail. As I only registered there yesterday evening, I think everything is fine and it will just take some time.
I received the email 5 days ago 13th. and returned my Mac address and serial number promptly. I too was surprised that there was no acknowledgement or confirmation, and I too have been wondering what's going on and have I done it correctly.
