Are we to assume that if we haven't heard from Qobuz by now, that we are not going to be testing this?
Why are you trying ot register an non-Wiim device? Not sure why WiiM is asking for the MAC address and Serial Number of my Benchmark DAC3 HGC. It isn’t a network device; no MAC address available. I let them know in the MAC address field.
I registered a WiiM Ultra, Pro and Eversolo DMP-A6. It's a Qobuz beta program and not just for WiiM streamers. At least that's the way I interpreted the sign up email. Why are you trying ot register an non-Wiim device?
Was it WiiM or Qobuz that specifically asked for the information of your Benchmark DAC by name? Isn't Qobuz doing this beta program and not WiiM?Not sure why WiiM is asking for the MAC address and Serial Number of my Benchmark DAC3 HGC. It isn’t a network device; no MAC address available. From the initial invite and comments here, it sounds like they’re doing it in waves (like history ) , in part due to some WiiM devices being ready and others not. It looks like owners of the Pro might have been selected first, although I think I submitted my Pro and the AudioPro mkii, but haven’t had a response either. Are we to assume that if we haven't heard from Qobuz by now, that we are not going to be testing this?
Are you sure it was WiiM and not Qobuz? I’ve seen others complain that they were wanting MAC addresses of DACs - tbh, I don’t see why they need DAC info at all as Connect won’t be connecting to DACs per se…Not sure why WiiM is asking for the MAC address and Serial Number of my Benchmark DAC3 HGC. That would presume Eversolo have or are in the process of updating their firmware to test Qobuz Connect. They could well be but I’d imagine it would be run as a separate beta test to WiiM’s.I registered a WiiM Ultra, Pro and Eversolo DMP-A6. It's a Qobuz beta program and not just for WiiM streamers. Don't forget to check your spam folder...Are we to assume that if we haven't heard from Qobuz by now, that we are not going to be testing this?
I entered details for my Ultra, as other devices are on specific older firmwares, so I guess that we will have to wait until they possibly decide that they might want us to take part. From the initial invite and comments here, it sounds like they’re doing it in waves (like history ) , in part due to some WiiM devices being ready and others not. I have been checking it multiple times each day.Don't forget to check your spam folder...
Over on the Qobuz Club discussion forum for this beta, there appear to be a variety of platforms where it's already working, including Denon/HEOS. My perception is that Qobuz is running the beta in a consolidated way, but relying upon the CE manufacturers intending to support Qobuz Connect to update their hardware as they see fit and are able. But on the Qobuz end, they may be onboarding beta testers in waves so as to keep up with any field reports about problems or feature/functionality requests/suggestions.That would presume Eversolo have or are in the process of updating their firmware to test Qobuz Connect. Can anyone in the Qobuz club access that? Got a link?Over on the Qobuz Club discussion forum for this beta, there appear to be a variety of platforms where it's already working, including Denon/HEOS. The link was sent in the beta onboarding email from Qobuz. Like other forums there, in this case I believe they're tightly limiting access to only those beta testers they've activated internally. Can anyone in the Qobuz club access that? Got a link?
Ok thanks. Looks like I’ll just need to be patientThe link was sent in the beta onboarding email from Qobuz. Like other forums there, in this case I believe they're tightly limiting access to only those beta testers they've activated internally.

Denon, too. So possibly others under the Masimo umbrella. The Qobuz invite email has an image of an Eversolo DMP-6 in it, so it looks like there is parallel testing going on for both WiiM and Eversolo devices at this time.
Well given HEOS didn’t even have Qobuz support on board, it was about timeDenon, too. So possibly others under the Masimo umbrella.
Unfortunately I’m not seeing my WiiM amp.Mine shows same place you would change to a Chrome or Airplay device etc. Working so well I can switch back and forth between devices with ease.

Yeah I have the beta installed so idk. I will periodically check and see if there’s an update. I’m in no hurry.I think we all need to be patient.
