Bluetooth Headphones Delay

Hi everyone

When I listen to TV with my Headphones, the delay is really too much. Watching movies or series is almost impossible.
I've tried also with different BT headphones (Sony, Akg etc).
Nothing happens even adjusting values +/- in the audio synchronization option.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Don't use bluetooth headphones, can your headphones take a cable? both of my bluetooth headphones have a 3.5mm stereo jack to connect a cable.

If the headphones can connect directly to the TV over BT then choose that option. Modern TVs typically compensate automatically to maintain lipsync.

Have the same problem and don't want to run a cord from the WiiM across the room..

Hi Folks, same problem on my side...

Sony 1000XM4 paired via BT to the Wiim Ultra... Horrible long delay. No problem for music only content, but when watching tv or movies it's not usable at all for me. Iam a latency fetishist haha.

But i found a usable solution. I got a pair of the Rode Wireless Go 2 System in my audio bag and thought: let's try it.

So i hooked up the Rode transmitter via 3.5mm to the Headphone Out and set the unit to 0db.

The Rode receiver was connected to te 1000XM4 3.5mm Input... The Receiver is kinda small and can be mounted via velcro on the headband or in your pocket.

But most important: the delay is nearly gone using the Wireless Go II System... They claim around 4-7ms latency which is kinda perfect for this use case and much better than most generic Bluetooth codecs and even better than the competition by DJI (Wireless), Hollyland (Lark) or even Sennheiser (AVX).

So If anyone got such a rode wireless audio set - give it a try as alternative to the delayed BT Out of the Wiim Ultra.
