Hi,
I want to report an issue with WiiM Sound and the native Google Home Stereo Group feature (distinct from Google Home speaker groups).
Context:
Google Home allows creating a native stereo pair ("Stereo Group") between two compatible Cast devices, assigning Left and Right channels at the Cast protocol level.
The issue:
With WiiM Pro, the "Stereo Group" option is available in Google Home and works correctly.
With WiiM Sound, the device is visible in Google Home, but the Stereo Group option is simply not available for it.
Summary:
This suggests the WiiM Sound is not exposing the correct Cast capability flag that enables the Stereo Group feature in Google Home.
Is this a known limitation? Is it something that could be fixed at firmware level so the WiiM Sound properly advertises stereo pairing capability to Google Home?
Thanks
